Description
Sifmig 985 MIG Copper Brazing Wire – 1.0 mm x 4 Kg
Sifmig 985 is a premium MIG copper brazing wire, boasting a composition of at least 98.5% copper. Enhanced with deoxidising elements, this wire is designed to resist both high temperatures and corrosion. Its high copper content ensures that it’s optimal for MIG welding of copper materials, providing a robust and durable weld.
Key Features:
- High Copper Content: Contains a minimum of 98.5% copper, ensuring a high-quality weld.
- Deoxidising Elements: These elements enhance the wire’s resistance to corrosion and high temperatures.
- Versatility: Designed for MIG welding, particularly of copper materials.
- Welding Positions: Suitable for all positions, offering flexibility in various welding scenarios.
Typical Applications:
- Copper Welding: Ideal for MIG welding of copper materials.
- High-Oxygen Copper Joints: Perfect for joint welding of high-oxygen copper materials.
- Thick Materials: If the material thickness exceeds 6mm, it’s recommended to pre-heat the component to above 600ºC and ensure controlled cooling post-welding for optimal results.
