Tungsten electrodes are used for AC and DC TIG welding. The range from GYS, Starparts, SWP and Super 6 covers 2% ceriated, 2% thoriated, 0.8% zirconiated and pure electrodes, lanthanated electrodes in 1%, 1.5% and 2% grades, and WR2 turquoise and E3 purple rare earth electrodes. They come in 150mm and 175mm lengths and diameters from 1.0mm to 6.4mm, mostly in packs of 10.
