TIG Tungsten Electrodes - 1% Lanthanated (Black Tip) - 150mm - 1.0 to 6.4mm Dia.

These TIG electrodes are alloyed with non-radioactive lanthanum oxide (1%), offering excellent arc starting, low erosion rate, arc stability, and re-ignition characteristics. The addition of lanthana increases maximum current-carrying capacity by approximately 50% compared to pure tungsten on AC.

Lanthana is dispersed evenly throughout the electrode length, maintaining a sharp point well for DC or advanced square wave AC power sources. Conforms to ANSI/AWS A5.12-92 and BS EN ISO 6848:2015. 150 mm length, supplied in packs of 10.
