2% thoriated tungsten electrodes (red tip) for DC TIG welding, offering better arc performance over pure tungsten. 150mm length, conforming to ANSI/AWS A5 12-92 and BS EN ISO 6848:2015. Preferred for direct current applications where the electrode is ground to a taper or point. The thoria content increases electrode life over pure tungsten types.
