Sifmig 347 is a niobium-stabilised stainless steel MIG welding wire designed to prevent weld decay and provide excellent corrosion resistance. This wire is particularly beneficial due to its high silicon content, which enhances arc stability and weld metal flow. As a result, the bead appearance is improved, especially during dip transfer welding. The wire is specifically tailored for welding 18/8 type stainless steel, including Nb and Ti stabilised variants like 304 and 321. It is especially suitable for applications where the weld is exposed to temperatures above 400°C.
