Weld Star – ER 80S-Ni1 TIG Wire is a copper-coated, Ni-alloy solid wire with 1.0% Nickel content. It’s specifically designed for low-temperature, fine-grained, and austempering steels. The addition of Nickel ensures excellent impact toughness, making it particularly suitable for the offshore industry. This wire exhibits superior mechanical properties even at sub-zero temperatures reaching -50 degrees Celsius.
