Description
Weld Star – Alloy C22 (NiCrMo-10) TIG (3.2mm) 5kg
Weld Star – Alloy C22 (NiCrMo-10) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy designed for joint welding of super alloys. This Nb-free weld metal offers resistance against stress & corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. It’s primarily used for overlays and cladding of lower alloy steels, making it ideal for applications in chemical processing plants and offshore environments.
Features and Benefits:
- Superior Corrosion Resistance: Offers excellent resistance against stress & corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion.
- Versatility: Designed for joining various alloys like C22, 625, 825, and even combinations of these alloys.
- Diverse Applications: Ideal for overlays and cladding of lower alloy steels, especially in environments that demand high corrosion resistance.
Common Applications:
- Chemical Process Plants: Used in equipment and components that handle corrosive chemicals.
- Offshore & Petrochemical Industries: Suitable for environments that require resistance to corrosion and stress cracking.
- Overlays & Cladding: Extensively used for enhancing the corrosion resistance of lower alloy steels.
