Description
Weld Star – Alloy 625 (NiCrMo-3) Wire (1.2mm) 15kg
This high nickel alloy wire is specifically designed for welding and cladding nickel-based alloys such as 625. The wire is solid drawn in a unique manner to produce cleaner, high-quality welds with a bright seam and exceptional ductility. The resulting weld metal showcases excellent mechanical properties at both high and low temperatures. It also offers good resistance to pitting and stress corrosion. This wire is ideal for applications in the chemical process industry, marine engineering, nuclear reactor components, aerospace, and pollution control equipment, among others.
Key Features:
- Suitable for welding/cladding nickel-based alloys like 625.
- Produces cleaner welds with bright seam and excellent ductility.
- Exhibits good resistance to pitting and stress corrosion.
- Suitable for use in chemical, marine, nuclear, and aerospace sectors.
- Conforms to both EN ISO18274 Ni 6625 and AWS A5 14 ER NiCrMo-3 standards.
- Precisely layer-wound for optimal wire feeding.
- Available in 1.2mm diameter spools.
Features and Applications
A high nickel alloy wire developed for welding and cladding nickel-based alloys such as 625 or similar materials. It is solid drawn in a special way to achieve cleaner and higher quality welds with a bright seam and excellent ductility. The weld metal exhibits excellent mechanical properties at both high and low temperatures, along with good resistance to pitting and stress corrosion.
Recommended working temperature ranges from cryogenic to 540 degrees Celsius. Precision layer wound for superior wire feeding characteristics. Typically used in the chemical process industry, marine engineering, nuclear reactor components, aerospace, and pollution control equipment, among others.
Typical Base Materials:
Inconel 601, Incoloy 800, Alloy 625, Alloy 825, Alloy 926 (Illustrative, not exhaustive list).
