SIF Sifmig 328 MIG Brazing Wire - Aluminium Bronze (CuAl8) - 0.8mm to 1.2mm Dia. (4kg & 12.5kg Spools)

SIFMIG 328 is an aluminium bronze MIG wire (CuAl8) for welding aluminium bronze alloys and dissimilar joints, supplied in 0.8–1.2mm diameters on 4kg and 12.5kg spools.

SIFMIG 328 is a 92/8 aluminium bronze MIG wire (CuAl8) designed for welding and surfacing applications on copper alloys and aluminium bronzes.

It is suitable for MIG brazing dissimilar joints, surfacing wear-resistant parts under light loads, and providing resistance to corrosive media such as salt.

The wire is widely used in shipbuilding, offshore, power generation, repair and maintenance, and the chemical industry.

Particularly effective for maintaining car parts, bearings, tools, and galvanized steel sheets, it runs on DC+ polarity with pure argon shielding gas.

Typical composition is Cu balance with 8% Al, giving weld deposits with tensile strength of 430 N/mm², hardness of 85 BHN and melting point of 1030°C.

Available in 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2mm diameters on 4kg and 12.5kg spools.
