Weld Star ER 308LSi is a stainless steel MIG wire characterised by its low carbon content, which reduces the risk of carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion. Its increased silicon content improves weld pool fluidity, resulting in smooth bead appearance and consistent weld quality.

This wire delivers excellent resistance to atmospheric and general corrosion, along with dependable mechanical strength even at sub-zero temperatures. Precision layer wound, it ensures stable feeding and consistent performance across a wide range of stainless steel fabrication applications.

It is suitable for welding base metals such as 304, 305, 347 and other austenitic stainless steels with similar chemical composition. Common industries include vessel production, pipework, plate fabrication, food processing, and general stainless fabrication.
