Sifmig 347 Stainless Steel MIG Welding Wire - 15kg

SIFMIG 347 is a niobium-stabilised stainless steel MIG wire for welding 18/8 type and stabilised stainless steels such as 304 and 321, available on 15kg spools in 0.8mm and 1.0mm diameters.

SIFMIG 347 is a stainless steel MIG wire designed with niobium stabilisation to prevent weld decay and improve corrosion resistance in 18/8 stainless steels and stabilised grades such as 304 and 321.

The addition of silicon improves arc stability, metal flow and bead appearance, especially in dip transfer welding.

It is suitable for all-position welding, producing weld metal with high resistance to intergranular corrosion even at service temperatures of 400°C and above.

Typical weld composition includes 19.5% Cr, 9.7% Ni, 1.5% Mn and 0.6% Nb, delivering welds with durability and toughness for demanding applications in chemical, food processing and high-temperature environments.

Operating on DC+ with Ar/CO₂ shielding gas, SIFMIG 347 is available in 0.8mm and 1.0mm diameters on 15kg reels for workshop and production use.
