SIF Aluminium MIG Wire - Pure Al 1050 - 1.0mm to 1.6mm Dia. - 6.5kg Spool

SIFMIG 1050 is a pure aluminium MIG wire (99.5% min) supplied on 6.5kg spools in 1.0mm, 1.2mm and 1.6mm diameters, suitable for welding 1050, 1080, 1200 and LM0 alloys.

SIFMIG 1050 is a high-purity aluminium MIG wire containing a minimum of 99.5% Al, producing ductile welds with strength equivalent to the base metal.

Recommended for welding pure aluminium alloys such as 1050, 1080, 1200 and LM0, it is also suitable where anodising is required, as the weld matches the anodised finish.

The wire can be used as a TIG filler or MIG wire, operating on DC+ polarity with pure argon or argon/helium shielding gas.

It offers excellent feeding and stable arc characteristics, with typical weld metal properties including 85 MPa tensile strength, 35 MPa yield strength and 40% elongation.

SIFMIG 1050 is supplied on 6.5kg spools in 1.0mm, 1.2mm and 1.6mm diameters, making it a reliable choice for structural and fabrication work in aluminium.
