Description
Sifmig 1050 Aluminium MIG Wire – 1.2 mm x 6.5 Kg
Sifmig 1050 Aluminium MIG Wire is a high-purity aluminium wire, boasting a minimum of 99.5% purity. This shaved wire is engineered to produce a ductile weld that mirrors the strength of the base metal. Being a TIG/MIG filler wire, it is specifically tailored for pure aluminium. Due to its unique properties, it is the recommended choice for alloys that are slated for anodising.
Key Features:
- Comprises of pure aluminium with a minimum purity of 99.5%.
- Capable of producing a ductile weld that matches the strength of the base metal.
- Ideal for alloys set to be anodised.
- Compatible with Oxy-Acetylene and can be used as a brazing alloy when combined with the right flux.
Common Applications:
Sifmig 1050 Aluminium MIG Wire is predominantly used for:
- TIG welding of pure aluminium, especially grades like 1050, 1080, 1200, and LM0.
- Brazing tasks when paired with the suitable flux.
Material to be Welded
Joining of Pure Aluminium by Tig process: 1050, 1080, 1200, LM0
Can be used with Oxy – Acetylene and an appropriate flux as a Brazing alloy.
