Super 6 SG2 MIG Wire is a premium copper-coated mild steel wire engineered for welding mild and medium tensile steels.
Offering excellent arc stability, smooth bead shape, and low spatter, it is widely used in general construction, shipbuilding, automotive, and repair work.
Test-certified to AWS A5.18 ER70S-6 and ISO 14341-A G 42 4 C1/M21 3Si1, it delivers high mechanical performance with a tensile strength of 545 MPa, yield strength of 455 MPa, and elongation of 27%.
Impact toughness is proven at -40°C, achieving 76–80 J with CO₂ shielding and 78–81 J with Argon/CO₂ mix.
This wire is supplied in 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm diameters on 15kg spools, operating on DC+ polarity with either CO₂ or Argon/CO₂ shielding gases.
