Super 6 5356 is a 5% magnesium aluminium MIG wire offering high strength and corrosion resistance, supplied in 6kg spool.

Super 6 5356 Aluminium MIG Wire is a versatile filler metal containing 5% magnesium, which provides excellent corrosion resistance and strength.

It is widely used for welding magnesium-bearing alloys such as 5251 (N4), 5154 (N5), and 5454 (N51), as well as heat-treatable alloys including 6063 (H9), 6061 (H20), and 6082 (H30).

The wire produces strong, reliable welds with excellent resistance to seawater and industrial environments, making it ideal for both general-purpose fabrication and structural applications.

Conforming to AWS A5.10 ER5356, BS 2901 5356A [NG6], and EN ISO 18273 S Al 5356, this wire is supplied in 1.0mm diameter on a 6kg spool and is operated on DC+ polarity with pure argon shielding gas.
