Weld Star HF 600 is a premium solid hardfacing wire designed for overlaying and repairing carbon-manganese steels. This wire produces a martensitic structured weld deposit with a hardness of 54–60 HRC, offering outstanding abrasion resistance and toughness under moderate impact.

Engineered for semi-automatic and automatic welding processes, HF 600 is copper coated and precision layer wound to ensure consistent wire feeding and smooth operation. It is particularly effective on excavator parts, crusher components, pneumatic hammers, knives, anvils, caterpillar tracks, guide rollers, and other heavy-wear equipment.

A buffer layer is recommended when welding hard-to-weld steels. The Cr-Si structure of the weld metal ensures high durability; machining is only possible by grinding unless tempered.
