The GYSTUD CAPATEK 66 FV is an industrial capacitor discharge power source designed for welding studs from M3 to M8 diameter in copper and stainless steel on thin sheet metal without marking or deformation. The revolutionary ergonomic contact gun features adjustable force and trigger control for ultra-fast welding rates, whilst FV technology allows operation on all single-phase power supplies.
Features
- 66 mF capacitor discharge with recharge time between 0 and 5 seconds
- Compatible stud lengths from 6 to 40 mm
- Adjustable force between 25 and 100 N with cover to prevent inadvertent adjustments
- Tripod design with bayonet lock for gun stability and easier chuck installation
- LED illumination of welding zone with fast flashing for error/machine under load and slow flashing for achieved stud count
- Adjustable voltage from 50 V to 200 V with settings lock
- Stud counter with adjustable threshold (incremental or decremental)
- Protected against overvoltage up to 400 V
- Easy change of welding polarity via 35/50 bayonet connector
- Supplied with two split earth clamps to avoid magnetic blowing effects
- Automatic sleep mode
- Ventilation on demand
