EWB550 is a glass-fibre welding blanket with a fire-retardant weaved coating on both sides which stabilises the glass fibres and provides resistance to fraying. The base fabric will withstand continuous temperatures up to 550 °C. This welding blanket is suitable for draping/protecting nearby components from weld spatter and spark and is a great, economy option for lightweight welding work.
