PurgEye 200 Weld Purge Monitor - IP65 Rechargeable (1 ppm to 1,000 ppm O₂)

The PurgEye® 200 IP65 Rechargeable Weld Purge Monitor® is adaptable for use with Tube, Pipe, or Pipeline Weld Purging Systems, Flexible Welding Enclosures®, and Weld Purge Chambers.

It serves various Weld Purging techniques, providing precise measurement of oxygen levels ranging from 1,000 ppm to 1 ppm, with an accuracy of 10 ppm.

This monitor functions as both a continuous reading instrument, allowing the purge exhaust gas to freely pass over the sensor, and a sampling instrument using the integrated electro-mechanical vacuum pump.

Crafted by Argweld®, the PurgEye® 200 IP65 Weld Purge Monitor® operates on rechargeable batteries or mains power. It is equipped with four standard rechargeable AA batteries, complemented by a rechargeable battery unit and charger for user convenience.

Maintaining reliable performance within a temperature range of 0 to 70°C (32 to 158°F) and a quick two-minute warm-up time, the PurgEye® 200 emphasizes the exclusive use of supplied weld purge tubing with leak-tight quick-fit couplings. This precaution ensures a secure purge zone without air leaks. The monitor should not be paired with alternative tubing due to potential fit issues and the risk of leaks.

For optimal protection and organization, the PurgEye® 200 Weld Purge Monitor® arrives in a newly designed, low-volume, and sturdy carrying case. This case not only safeguards the instrument but also ensures that it remains neatly packed with all accessories for easy access and organized storage.

Optional Dew Point Sensor:

Welders often need to measure not only oxygen content but also the ‘dew point’ during purging.

The dew point is the temperature at which condensation begins, and water will condense on the material being welded. This can significantly affect the weld properties.

We have recently added a Dew Point Sensor to our range that can be used in conjunction with our range of 10 ppm Weld Purge Monitors®. Rather than purchasing a separate, expensive Dew Point Meter, HFT®’s Dew Point Sensor can be connected to the Weld Purge Monitor® via the PurgeNet™ lead.

The dew point sensor is designed to fit any of our Weld Purge Monitors® that read down to 1ppm.
