Returns and Cancellations
We do not issue goods on a “Sale or Return” basis and we expect Customers to retain all goods ordered. All goods returned, must have the prior agreement of the Company and the Goods Returns Authorisation number, issued by us, must be clearly stated on the return packaging otherwise receipt of said goods may be rejected. Any goods returned to the Company must arrive free of charge and will be subject to a restocking charge based on a percentage of the invoice value. Credit in respect of rejected or faulty material will only be made after return to the company and resulting inspection. Receipt of such material at the premises of the Company and notification of despatch of rejects, will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
How do I arrange a return?
Please email details to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with a Goods Return Number (GRN). The GRN must be clearly displayed on the outside of the packaging of the goods sent back to our warehouse or they may not be accepted. The GRN is valid for a period of 30 days; failure to return goods in this time may result in this authorisation expiring.
What if I’ve changed my mind and wish to cancel my order?
When purchasing goods or services from Welding and Welder via our website, you are protected by the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, which provides a cooling-off period of 7 working days after your order is placed. Should you wish to cancel your order during this time, please request a Goods Return Number (GRN) via email to email@example.com. In order for a full refund of the value of the goods to be provided, you will need to ensure the products are unused, unopened and returned to us in as-sold condition.
What should I do if my goods are damaged on arrival?
Welding and Welder request that all consignments are thoroughly and properly examined upon receipt, prior to you signing acceptance of delivery. Please notify any damage on the courier’s consignment note, as it is difficult to rectify carrier damage if deliveries are signed for as “received in good condition”. Please notify Welding and Welder of any incorrect, damaged or missing items by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, within 48 hours of receipt, and we will endeavour to rectify the problem in the minimum possible time.
