EAL Level 3 Welding Coordinator
Duration: Three Days Plus Home Study Course Reference Code: WBQWC3D
Supervisors, Technicians and Welding Personnel who are involved in the coordination of welding activities and will be reporting to a Responsible Welding Coordinator as detailed in EN ISO 14731, in order to support their company’s quality requirements under ISO 3834, and referenced in EN1090.
Additionally, for individuals who are seeking career progression and professional development as a route from welding to supervisory/management level.
Following the completion of the e-learning package you will complete a three-day intensive classroom and workshop based training course. The course will cover welding processes, consumables, joint design, welding imperfections, inspection techniques, weld procedure qualifications, welding qualifications, quality control and the duties of the welding coordinator.
Good general knowledge of welding and allied processes (this can be achieved via our e-Learning packages).
• Demonstrate adequate technical knowledge for the role.
• Achieve competency in order to coordinate welding related activities.
• Identify the welding related tasks in accordance with ISO 3834 when appropriate.
A set of example document templates and an inspection kit supplied at the end of the course.
