Super 6 5183 is a high-strength aluminium MIG wire with excellent seawater and corrosion resistance, supplied in 1.0mm and 1.2mm diameters on 6kg spools.

Super 6 5183 Aluminium MIG Wire is engineered for high-strength welding applications where outstanding seawater and corrosion resistance are critical.

Manufactured from a special 5183 aluminium alloy, this wire delivers improved strength and durability compared to standard grades.

It is commonly used in shipbuilding, offshore structures, cryogenic plant fabrication, power generation, and railway industry applications.

With a tensile strength of 270 N/mm², hardness of 65 BHN, and a melting point of 640°C, it produces strong, reliable welds across all positions (PA, PB, PC, PF, PE, PD).

Operating on DC+ polarity with pure argon shielding gas, Super 6 5183 is available in 1.0mm and 1.2mm diameters on 6kg spools.
