Super 6 4043 Aluminium MIG Wire - AlSi5 - 0.8mm to 1.6mm Dia. (0.5kg, 2kg & 6kg Spools)

Super 6 4043 is a 5% silicon aluminium MIG wire for welding duralumin, cast and wrought alloys, supplied in 0.8–1.6mm diameters on 0.5kg, 2.0kg & 6.0kg spools.

Super 6 4043 Aluminium MIG Wire is an AlSi5 filler metal containing 5% silicon, designed for welding duraluminium as well as cast and wrought aluminium alloys.

It offers excellent corrosion resistance and flow characteristics, though welds may discolour if anodised.

Typical applications include general fabrication, construction, shipbuilding, automotive, and repair/maintenance tasks where aluminium alloys are used.

This wire provides consistent mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 120 N/mm², hardness of 45 BHN, and melting point of 430°C.

It is suitable for welding in all positions (PA, PB, PC, PF, PE, PD) and operates on DC+ polarity with pure argon shielding gas.

Available in diameters of 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, and 1.6mm on 0.5kg, 2.0kg, and 6.0kg spools.
