Description
Stainless Steel MIG Welding Wire 347 – 1.2 mm x 15 Kg
The Stainless Steel MIG Welding Wire 347 is a niobium-stabilized stainless steel wire designed to prevent weld decay, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance. Its high silicon content enhances arc stability and weld metal flow, resulting in an improved bead appearance, especially during dip transfer welding.
- This wire is ideal for welding 18/8 type stainless steel, as well as Nb and Ti stabilized metals such as 304 and 321.
- It’s especially recommended for situations where the weld will be exposed to temperatures of 400°C and above.
- Ensure the welding area is thoroughly cleaned before starting the welding process for optimal results.
Key Features:
- Niobium Stabilization: Helps in preventing weld decay and offers excellent corrosion resistance.
- High Silicon Content: Ensures better arc stability and improved weld metal flow, enhancing bead appearance.
- Versatility: Suitable for welding 18/8 type stainless steel and Nb and Ti stabilized metals like 304 and 321.
Typical Applications:
- Stainless Steel Welding: Ideal for welding 18/8 type stainless steel.
- High-Temperature Welding: Suitable for metals subjected to temperatures above 400°C.
