Description
Sifmig 309LSI Stainless Steel MIG Wire – 1 mm x 3.75 Kg
Sifmig 309LSI Stainless Steel MIG Wire, with a diameter of 1.0mm and weighing 3.75 Kg, is designed for welding stainless steel. It contains higher levels of chromium and nickel, making it suitable for joining both materials of similar composition and dissimilar stainless steels.
Key Features:
- Chromium and Nickel Content: Contains higher levels of chromium and nickel, enhancing its corrosion resistance and overall strength.
- Precision Layer Wound: Ensures positive uninterrupted feeding, suitable for various welding applications.
Common Applications:
Sifmig 309LSI Stainless Steel MIG Wire is ideal for:
- Joining high-strength steels, unalloyed and alloyed heat treatable steels.
- Welding stainless, ferritic chromium, and austenitic CrNi steels.
- Welding austenitic manganese steels.
- Suitable for chemically resistant weld claddings ranging from ferritic-pearlitic steels to fine grain steels, including high-temperature fine grain steels.
- Dissimilar joining.
Material to be Welded
Typical applications include joining high-strength steels, un- and low alloyed heat treatable steels, stainless, ferritic chromium and austenitic chrome-nickel steels, austenitic manganese steels. SIFSTEEL 309LSi is suitable for joining clad steels. The FN content (FN~16) ensures good cracking resistance.
Base materials to be welded: High strength, unalloyed and alloyed heat treatable steels; stainless, ferritic chromium and austenitic CrNi steels; austenitic manganese steels. Chemically resistant weld claddings ranging from ferritic-pearlitic steels to fine grain steels, incl. high temperature fine grain steels. Dissimilar joining.
SIFSTEEL 309LSi is a solid wire for MAG welding corrosion resistant and heat resistant CrNi steels, dissimilar metals and buffering.
