Weld Star – ER 307Si Stainless Wire is an austenitic stainless steel wire with a significant manganese content, ensuring that the all-weld metal is predominantly austenitic. It is ideal for dissimilar welding between steel and stainless steel, armor plates, exhaust systems, and more. This wire is also suitable for depositing stress-relaxing buffer layers on crack-sensitive base metals, including hardfacing applications. The wire is precision layer wound, ensuring superior wire feeding characteristics. It is typically used in applications exposed to atmospheric and corrosive media.
