Description
Sifchrome 316L Stainless Steel Electrode (MMA Stick) – 2.5 mm x 4 Kg
Sifchrome 316L is a rutile coated electrode designed for welding molybdenum alloys 18/12 and similar CR/Ni/Mo steels. It produces a self-releasing slag and offers an excellent weld appearance. This electrode provides high resistance against general and intergranular corrosion up to 400ËšC and showcases good resistance to hot cracking.
Features & Benefits:
- Rutile Coating: Ensures smooth welding and a clean weld appearance.
- Self-Releasing Slag: Facilitates easier post-weld cleaning.
- High Corrosion Resistance: Offers protection against general and intergranular corrosion up to 400ËšC.
- Hot Cracking Resistance: Minimizes the risk of weld defects.
Common Applications:
- Universal Applications: Suitable for a wide range of welding tasks.
- Industry-Specific: Especially beneficial for industries requiring superior corrosion resistance, such as the textile industry, paper mills, chemical industry, and cellulose industry.
- Specialized Applications: Commonly used in shipbuilding, offshore operations, power generation, general fabrication, construction, and the process industry.
