SIFMIG 4047 is an AlSi12 aluminium MIG wire with excellent colour match for automotive and high-silicon alloy welding, available in 1.0–1.6mm diameters on 2kg and 6.5kg spools.

SIFMIG 4047 is an aluminium MIG wire containing 12% silicon (AlSi12), designed for welding high-silicon alloys and castings where colour match to the base material is critical.

It is precision layer-wound for smooth, uninterrupted feeding, making it suitable for semi-automated and fully-automated MIG welding systems.

Typical applications include repair and construction of automotive parts, window frames, tubes, furniture and engine blocks.

The weld metal delivers a tensile strength of 130 N/mm², hardness of 50 BHN, and a melting point of 585°C.

SIFMIG 4047 operates on DC+ polarity with argon or argon/helium shielding gas and is supplied in 1.0, 1.2 and 1.6mm diameters on 2kg and 6.5kg spools.
