Parweld XP ER2209 is a standard 22Cr duplex stainless steel TIG filler rod to AWS A5.9, nominally 22Cr-9Ni-3Mo-N. It is the matching TIG filler for 2205 / UNS S32205 / 1.4462 and is over-alloyed in nickel to restore the ferrite-austenite balance in the weld metal. Used for offshore, subsea and pressure vessel work where strength and corrosion resistance are both required.
