Nederman FilterBox 12A ePTFE Welding Fume Extractor

When mobility, flexibility and a compact footprint are key, a mobile solution is often the best way to avoid contaminant exposure. The Nederman FilterBox range of mobile dust and fume extraction units is easy to move around your factory to wherever the extraction is needed. The wide product range makes it easy to find a model with the capacity, features and filter type needed.

The FilterBox 12A++ is equipped with a fan for a maximum airflow capacity of 1200 m³/h (700 cfm). The ePTFE media technology used in the 13 m² (140 ft²) cartridge is for demanding dust or fume applications. It offers higher efficiency and surface loading properties, which result in more effective filter cleaning and longer cleaning intervals. This benefits filter life, productivity and cost of ownership.

The unit has a filter control system indicating the pressure drop with a series of LEDs as well as on the LCD display. When the airflow is too low, an audible alarm precedes the automatic, motorised cleaning sequence. For dust applications, the unit is cleaned mechanically. For welding fumes, it uses a combination of mechanical and compressed air cleaning. An integrated silencer reduces noise from the fan and outlet air. Additional protection from harmful particles is provided if a HEPA filter (optional) is installed.

The FilterBox 12A++ is available as a mobile unit on wheels but can be fixed mounted with an accessory kit. It includes an original 3 m (10 ft) extraction arm, fan N29, spotlight and fan switch on the extraction hood, integrated silencer, integrated LCD display with parameter setting options and a 9.5 m (31 ft) power cable.

Note: FilterBox is not for use in environments where combustible dust or gases are present, and it is not for use in filtering combustible dust or gases.
