Description
GeKa – 316L-17 ELOX R Electrodes (3.2mm) 4.5kg
The GeKa 316L-17 ELOX R electrode is a rutile coated low carbon electrode designed for welding tanks, pipes, and equipment made of Cr-Ni-Mo low carbon steels. These steels are commonly used in the food, textile, chemical, and paint industries. The electrode offers resistance to acid corrosion and is serviceable at temperatures up to 400°C.
Features and Benefits:
- Versatile Welding: Suitable for welding tanks, pipes, and equipment made of Cr-Ni-Mo low carbon steels.
- Industry Applications: Ideal for use in the food, textile, chemical, and paint industries.
- Corrosion Resistance: Offers resistance to acid corrosion.
- High Serviceability Temperature: Weld metal can resist temperatures up to 400°C.
- Re-drying Requirement: Electrodes require a minimum of 2 hours re-drying time at temperatures of 120°C-200°C.
