Our 2 types of flap discs provide consistent finishing performance. Reduced vibration over depressed-centre grinding discs.
Zirconium is suited to most ferrous metals, for weld seam removal, surface blending, edge grinding and weld preparation. Ceramic is ideal for weld blending and surface cleaning on harder steels and stainless; also gives longer life on mild steel and cast iron.
Target Applications
Grinding, stock removal, edge chamfering/bevelling, weld blending, deburring/deflashing, rust removal, blending, cleaning and finishing.
Additional Information
Flap discs are versatile grinding and finishing tools, consisting of three main components: a backing plate, adhesive and abrasive cloth flaps.
The rectangular flaps are overlapped and glued to the backing plate. Flap discs are designed for right angle grinder applications ranging from heavy stock removal to surface blending.
