4047A Aluminium TIG Rods are specialised aluminium rods containing 12% silicon, making them ideal for high silicon alloys and automotive applications. These rods are particularly chosen for scenarios where colour matching to the parent material is crucial.

With excellent mechanical properties and superior corrosion resistance, they are suitable for silicon-bearing cast aluminium alloys and wrought alloys. However, they are not recommended for fabrications that are intended to be anodised.
